Worst Records opens up a new chapter of its musical odyssey with WORST LTD, the brand new sublabel dedicated to intriguing ambient explorations and abstract experiments released in small quantities on CD.

For this first opus, C. Coiffure is back among us with a deeply conscious concept-album. Born from the idea that mankind is the antithesis of harmony in its relation to nature, and considering that other lifeforms manage to create a balance between them and their environment that we often struggle to fully understand, C. Coiffure pays homage to the organic beauty of these biotopes. « Freefloat » is a sonic continuum where electronics and field recording melt in each other, without any real interruption, creating almost autonomous structures and symbiosis that siphonophores, bee hives and ant citadels can incarnate as well.
Conceived as a whole, this first album of the new catalogue isn't limited by the illusion of an accomplished perfection and instead puts an awakening light on the nobility of happy accidents and the invisible harmony that surrounds us. An ode to life to start a new sonic saga.

Worst Records ouvre un nouveau chapitre de son épopée musicale avec WORST LTD, son premier sublabel qui sera consacré à recueillir d'intriguantes explorations ambient et autres expérimentations contemplatives et abstraites édités en petite quantité en CD.

Pour ce premier opus, C. Coiffure est de retour parmi nous avec rien de moins qu'un concept-album tressé telle une fable écologique. Partant du constat que la vie à l'échelle humaine est l'antithèse de l'harmonie avec son environnement, et que d'autres formes de vie parviennent, elles, à évoluer avec une cohérence et un équilibre qui nous échappent, C. Coiffure a souhaité rendre hommage à la beauté organique de ces biotopes. « Freefloat » se présente ainsi comme un continuum sonore où électronique et field recording s'entrelacent sans interruption réelle, formant des structures et des symbioses presque autonomes, à l'image des ruches, des siphonophores, des colonies de fourmis.
Conçu comme un tout, ce premier album du catalogue ne s'enferme pas pour autant dans la finitude d'une perfection artificielle, et donne à voir la noblesse de l'imprévu dans la création ainsi que la délicate et invisible cohésion qui règne autour de nous sans que nous n'en ayons le plus souvent conscience. Une ode à la vie qui inaugure une nouvelle saga sonore.
